About Bob Ellis

Since 2002, Bob Ellis of New Orleans has held a partnership in a general practice law firm operating in Louisiana and Texas. Concentrating primarily on corporate law, he has provided counsel to a number of ventures on such matters as criminal law, taxation, and environmental torts. Among other companies, Bob Ellis has represented Uptown Solar Group in gaining start-up funds under the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Investor Pilot Program (EB-5 Program). In addition, he formulated a business plan for the group that grew annual revenue by $6 million within its first two years of operations.

Apart from attending to the aforementioned responsibilities, the attorney manages the Gulf Coast Regional Center, LLC, where he guides initiatives to promote regional economic development, including plans for reforestation and mixed-use commercial projects. He also draws on his experience with the EB-5 Program to enhance area job growth.

Bob Ellis earned a bachelor of arts in political science at the University of Texas at Austin. Furthering his education, he completed a master of business administration and a juris doctor at Loyola University New Orleans. A member of national, regional, and local bar associations, he maintains admissions to all Louisiana courts at the state and federal levels.
